American gymnastics icon Mary Lou Retton is facing a serious health battle, as disclosed by her daughter, McKenna Kelley, on Tuesday.
In a recent interview her daughter says “My amazing mom, Mary Lou, has a very rare form of pneumonia,”
Mary Lou Retton is currently unable to breathe without assistance and has been in the ICU for over a week. In respect for her privacy not all details will be shared but it’s known that she doesn’t have insurance.
